SAMPLE COURSES

Project Management Fundamentals (PMG 510) – Covers key principles, processes and methodologies of project management. Topics include project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing. Students will gain hands-on experience with stakeholder management, scheduling, risk assessment and quality control. 

Project Risk Management (PMG 515) – Focuses on identifying, analyzing and responding to project risks. Students learn strategies for risk assessment, mitigation and contingency planning to ensure project success. Special emphasis is placed on case studies and agile risk management approaches. 

Project Leadership & Team Management (PMG 610) – Explores the role of project managers as leaders and effective team managers – covering team dynamics, motivation, conflict resolution and communication strategies. Students will develop skills in negotiation, stakeholder engagement and leading virtual teams. 

Project Budgeting & Cost Management (PMG 615) – Examines the fundamentals of budgeting, cost estimation and cost control. Students learn how to develop and manage project budgets, track costs and ensure projects stay within financial constraints. Topics include financial decision-making and cost reporting.
