Tiffin University will offer another free two-week online course to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who want to try online learning.
The course, “Diversity in Education,” begins July 20 and will explore cultural, ethnic, economic, gender and racial differences and similarities in American society.
“Offering potential students the opportunity to try one of our online courses for two weeks allows the individual to get familiar with our online learning platform, Moodle and the expectations of an online course,” said Dr. Amy Wood, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “I hope that this experience eases any concerns a potential student has about online learning.”
Participants can expect one assignment each week to gain a sense of how online learning works. Also, they will have authentic interactions with a Tiffin University faculty member and other prospective students in a live online environment. The course is free of charge and no textbook is required. Individuals who register for this course will not earn college credit.
