“My name is Kylie Stocker. I’m a third-generation student at Tiffin University. My grandpa, my mother, my father, and my brother will be graduating from there. Tiffin just kind of runs in my blood.
My curriculum online includes studying people, literature and creative writing. I took an online class last semester that was essentially writing a novel. With working full-time, it was hard. But my online classes allow me to work at my own pace. Throughout the week I tap into my online classes and get on whenever I have time.
With it being online, I don’t really have the pressure of ‘what’s that person writing’ versus what I’m writing. You always have a one-on-one atmosphere. It’s never a 500 student lecture and one professor.
I feel like it’s making not only me better as a person, but it’s also benefitting my future career. I think a person should choose Tiffin University not only for the family atmosphere, but because you can do it at your own pace, you can go full-time, part-time and they’re going to support you either way.”
