What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

It has been a dream of mine to pursue graduate study. Being able to continue my education while working full-time has provided a phenomenal opportunity to apply what I have been learning in the real-world setting.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

Continuing my education at the graduate level has always been a dream of mine and Tiffin University has made that dream possible. The welcoming environment of the faculty along with the fantastic course material and flexibility of the online program format made Tiffin the right choice for me.

What has been your experience with the program so far?

The teaching staff here at Tiffin have been nothing short of embracing. Each faculty member has graciously welcomed me into their class and has walked beside me in my learning venture.

What keeps you motivated to stay in the program?

My family keeps me motivated to stay in the program. Plus, knowing what I am learning can benefit the community through my work in social services inspires me to continue pushing forward.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about going back to school?

If the path is right for you to continue your education, take the opportunity. It will be challenging, but it will be worthwhile. Perhaps one of the greatest lessons you will learn is who you are.

TU’s motto is: Without risk there is no gain. Can you tell us about a time when you took a risk and what you gained from it?

Beginning this program was a risk, not knowing what to expect and where it was going to lead me, but in the process, I have discovered who I am and that is one of the best lessons I have found.
