Student Spotlight: Hannah R., Online Master of Education

“To balance both work and school as I do both full-time is obviously a lot of time management and planning. The fact that you have the flexibility to do it at 5pm or 2am is definitely something that makes it more achievable.”
– Hannah R., Online M.Ed. Student

“My name is Hannah Reese and I am pursuing my Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration online at Tiffin University. After working for about two years in my field of broadcast, I lost my father very unexpectedly. After losing my father, I realized my goal is to someday be able to teach broadcast.

A big factor for me was that it’s ranked in the top 25 for the program of master’s of education in higher education administration. And within that they were one of very few that was online.

To balance both work and school, as I do both full-time, is obviously a lot of time management and planning. There are also things that make online learning much more feasible and accessible by going to an online forum. The fact that you have the flexibility to do it at 5pm or 2am is definitely something that makes it more achievable.

Now I could get any number of roles at any number of institutions and the opportunities it will afford me moving forward is very settling and makes me feel like I know what the next three to five years are going to look like and even beyond that. If it’s something that you want bad enough and you’re committed to it and you want to see success, you’ll find it at Tiffin University.”
