What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

I have worked in HR since 2014 and it was time to earn the degree to support advancement in my career.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

Tiffin offered a balance with my full work schedule and still allowed me to succeed in a virtual classroom – when it worked for me. I highly recommend Tiffin to others when I hear adult learners considering going back to school.

What has been your experience with the program so far?

Truly love it without exaggeration. The ability to begin working on my MBA in my final semesters of my BBA is amazing and a much appreciated perk. I am even connected via LinkedIn with some of my past professors. They are that reachable.

How are you juggling work, life and going back to school?

I live by my planner. It holds my weekly assignments and work meetings which are all color coded. It keeps me focused while working so much, with so much responsibility, and keeping my GPA where I want it.

What keeps you motivated to stay in the program?

My short term and long term goals. Set goals, a lot of them and don’t stop until you crush them!

What advice would you give to a prospective student who is thinking about going back to school?

Jump in! Education is something that can never be taken away from you. I have learned so much pertaining to and not pertaining to my major.

TU’s motto is: Without risk there is no gain. Can you tell us about a time when you took a risk and what you gained from it?

Accepting a directors position to further my career while finishing my senior year of full time classes (including summer) while starting my masters. But it will all be worth it!
