Transcript:
My name is Troy Thrush, and I’m currently enrolled in the Cybersecurity program here at Tiffin University.
I’m a transfer student from Marion Technical College, and I played eSports there as a team captain. The Dragon Next program partnered up with Marion Technical College and made this a lot more affordable. Playing video games at a competitive level and also using technical skills on a daily basis has a huge impact on my daily life. Much more of my work has been gamifying things and giving myself goals on things I want to get done on the day.
I’ve definitely grown professionally and personally throughout my time at Tiffin. They’ve helped me realize that I should be a lot more confident with my skills. I’ve completely transformed the way that I speak, the way that I communicate with other people in leadership positions, and also the way that I understand people when they communicate with me.
If I had to describe my experience at Tiffin University in one word, it would be transformative. It’s definitely worth going through the work, and you will definitely feel rewarded in the end.
