Find Your Calling in Human Services

Understanding why people think and act the way they do is the first step to dealing with the problems facing our society. If you find yourself wondering how you could help people overcome addiction, handle difficult family situations, find the right path in life or manage other behavioral issues, you should consider pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Services.

The online Human Services program at Tiffin University (TU) teaches the basics of psychology and delves into topics like theories of personality and abnormal behavior, research design and lifespan development. With a BA degree in hand, you’ll be ready for a job in a variety of helping professions or to pursue graduate study in psychology, counseling, psychotherapy and other behavioral health fields.

Like all TU degree programs, our BA in Psychology—Human Services classes are taught by professors with advanced degrees and/or real-world experience. Classes are small, so you’ll get the level of attention you need, whether you’re coming back to school after several years away or this is your first time to enroll in college. Online programs begin in January, March, May, July, August and October so you can start when it works best for you. If you’ve already earned credits at another school, we’ll be happy to help you transfer them to TU to move you toward your degree as quickly as possible.

The world needs people who want to help others deal with complex personal and social problems. Does this sound like your calling? Let’s pursue it together.
