Dr. Rickard Briggs

Dr. Briggs brings more than two decades of academic leadership and entrepreneurial experience to this role. He previously served as a Full Professor and Director of Business Management, Economics and the Innovation Center at National University, where he also led the Ph.D. program in Business Administration and has chaired more than fifty dissertations. His experience in program oversight, curriculum development and strategic planning will greatly benefit our growing doctoral initiatives. 

In addition to his academic expertise, Dr. Briggs has founded and led multiple international organizations across sectors including healthcare, asset management and business process outsourcing.  His global perspective and innovative mindset have led to the creation of business incubators, community partnerships and student-centered learning initiatives that reflect his deep commitment to education, leadership and applied research. His dynamic background and proven ability to integrate technology, entrepreneurship and scholarship position him as an outstanding addition to our academic community.
