Tiffin University PhD Students Present Papers at International Conference

Three Tiffin University PhD students presented papers at the Midwest Business Administration Association 2024 International Conference in Chicago March 10-12.

Justin Nies presented Bridging Appreciative Inquiry and Artificial Intelligence to Rebuild Social Capital in the North American Management Society track. Pamela Jesso’s presentation, Investing Leadership in Economically Disadvantaged Entrepreneurs in Brazil, was in the Association of International Business Research and Practice track.

The Business, Society, and Government track was where Susan Cullen presented Exploring Communication Competencies Amid Globalization. Cullen also chaired Diversity, Ethics and Governance session for this track. PhD student Tiffanie Riggs attended the conference. Kamren McNeal’s paper Nigeria’s University Library Systems: Overlooked Nodes of Prosperity was accepted but he was unable to attend the conference.

Dr. Perry Haan, Professor of Marketing and Ph.D. Academic Advisor presented a case study Growing Medical Cannabis in Israel in the Society for Case Research track. Haan also co-authored the three student papers that were presented, chaired the HR and Global Governance session in the Business, Society, and Government track.
