Student Stories: Jill Dyer, Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology

jill dyer

Meet Jill Dyer, a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology major at Tiffin University who chose TU for its flexible online options and small, supportive classes. She shares how proactive advisors and caring faculty make the online experience feel much like being on campus, with the same connections and resources. With that support, she was able to keep going, complete her master’s degree and reach a milestone she is truly proud of.

The Tiffin experience is great because attending online is like attending in person. You have the faculty, you have the advisors, you have the financial aid. Everything’s the same. The only thing that’s different is you’re not sitting physically in class.

My name is Jill Dyer, and I’m a Clinical Exercise Physiology major at Tiffin University. I chose Tiffin University because they had a lot of programs that were online and available. Their student ratio was small, so our classes are usually one professor to about 15 to 20 students.

Their counselors and advisors are amazing. They reach out to us to let us know what classes are available, if they want to register us, or if we want to register for ourselves. The whole faculty is amazing, and they’re always there for us.

The milestone that I’m most proud of is that I made it. I actually graduated with my master’s. I just kept pushing. Didn’t give up. Shed a couple of tears, but I made it.
