Current occupation:

Exercise Physiologist in stress test lab, cardia rehab, pulmonary rehab

What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

I decided to pursue this degree because of my love and passion for helping people. Seeing people grow into better, healthier individuals is very rewarding.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

I heard about the good exercise science program and the excellent track program.

Describe your experience with the program, your cohort and faculty?

Never felt overwhelmed or anxious. There is plenty of help. Technology was easy to use, very user-friendly never had any troubles.

Amazing, everyone honestly was great through my bachelor’s and through my master’s. Always answered any questions or concerns I had.

How did you juggle work, life, and going back to school? Any tips?

One step at a time. I was a full-time student athlete all my years at TU, and the coaches and professors are very accommodating. The student athlete population is large at TU, so the help is there for you.

What kept you motivated to stay in the program?

I was always looking forward to having a fun job and something cool to talk about to friends and family.

What advice would you give to a prospective student who is thinking about going back to school?

I’d tell a prospective student to do it! It’s 100% worth it, especially at TU. This degree will better prepare you for the job field.

TU’s motto is: Without risk there is no gain. Can you tell us about a time when you took a risk and what you gained from it?

I took a risk switching from sprints and jumps into distance running. New coach, new training, it was a big jump and change of pace for me. I learned a lot about myself and made a lot of new friends and it has really helped and excelled me as a person and as a professional.
