What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

I am a single mother to 3 young boys. I want to give them a good future and a stable home. I want to have a career I can be proud of and Tiffin is helping me do so.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

The flexibility of Tiffin has been so helpful in my future endeavors as a student. I take care of kids and work full time so I need flexibility in being able to go to school on my time.

Describe your experience with the program.

Everything about Tiffin online has been extremely beneficial and helpful. I was anxious to do online schooling again but Tiffin made it easy! Everyone at Tiffin is so welcoming and understanding. Communication is key and everyone is there to help!

How did you juggle work, life, and school? Any tips?

Always communicate with your teachers and they will help you out. I made sure to always make time for school later in the evening once kids were settled and life wasn’t so chaotic. Don’t be nervous Tiffin is amazing.

What kept you motivated to stay in the program?

My kids kept me motivated and the accomplishment of having my degree.

What advice would you give to a prospective student who is thinking about going back to school?

Do it! You will not regret it! Even if it is one class per semester like me just do it like I did!

TU’s motto is: Without risk there is no gain. Can you tell us about a time when you took a risk and what you gained from it?

I was going through a separation and became a single mother to 3 boys again on top of having no job. I decided that once I got a part time job that I wanted to go back to school that it was time to start the path to a career so I could give my kids a stable life. This path has been amazing!
