What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

I decided to pursue my degree as an adult because I recognized early on the crucial role education plays in shaping my future. My goal is to create a successful career, and I know that a degree can open up a wealth of opportunities.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

I chose to enroll at Tiffin University because of its outstanding academic reputation and the individualized attention it provides to students. The smaller class sizes allow for more interaction with professors, which is critical for my learning style.

Describe your experience with the program so far.

My journey in the program at Tiffin University has been very positive. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the interactive coursework and the opportunity to study under knowledgeable professors who genuinely care about our achievements. One thing that surprised me was how quickly I could acclimate to the workload and expectations. I was initially a bit nervous about balancing my coursework, assignments, and personal commitments. Still, I found the resources available, such as academic advising, to be extremely helpful in alleviating my stress and managing my time effectively. As for the technology, I was impressed by how user-friendly the online learning platforms are. The university provided excellent instructions and support, which helped make the transition smoother than expected.

I’ve had a very positive experience in my interactions with the faculty at Tiffin University. The professors are accessible and truly invested in our success. They readily provide extra support and constructive feedback on our work. I value their active engagement with students, which fosters a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

How are you juggling work, life and going back to school? Any tips?

Balancing work, family, and school can be challenging, but I’ve found several strategies that help me manage it all. I find it helpful to create a weekly schedule incorporating my classes, study sessions, personal commitments, and family activities. This organization allows me to stay on track and balance my responsibilities effectively. I utilize the resources at my disposal to manage my coursework. When I start to feel overwhelmed, I make it a point to take breaks and focus on self-care, which helps me avoid burnout. My top advice for anyone feeling anxious about managing everything is to communicate with your family and employers regarding your obligations. They are often willing to provide the support or flexibility you need.
