What made you decide to pursue your degree as an adult?

I decided at this point to pursue a degree as a adult based on the flexibility in work, home, and family life.

Why did you choose to study at Tiffin University?

I selected Tiffin University because of the convenience to study online for the entire Human Resources program.

Describe your experience with the program, your cohort and faculty?

I was anxious on how I could make a connection being an online student in the classroom, but the experience has been for me equivalent to being on campus. Tiffin’s technology is easy to use, and additional help is available if needed through IT services.

Interactions have been positive with the faculty every week through discussions and feedback on assignments. The faculty’s availability can provide confidence to any student that may need additional help with their experience at TU.

How did you juggle work, life, and going back to school? Any tips?

Organizing time is priority. Making time for each area of life that is significant to you will help you succeed.

What kept you motivated to stay in the program?

Completing this program to reach my career goal in HR has kept me motivated.

What advice would you give to a prospective student who is thinking about going back to school?

The advice I would give to a prospective student is to start now, don’t procrastinate, it’s never too late!

TU’s motto is: Without risk there is no gain. Can you tell us about a time when you took a risk and what you gained from it?

I took a risk going as a full-time student fully remote at Tiffin with unfamiliar computer systems, along with a different social interaction, and working full time and what I gained was my bachelor’s in Human Resources at TU.
