Your IT Program
TU will prepare you with hands-on applications for administration, design and implementation of secure computer networks. Centering studies on best practice administration across Microsoft, Open Source and Cisco products will guide you in administering computer environments that are scalable, secure and available.
As a student in the program, you will implement these products with a security-based approach and build countermeasures for defending services. Hands-on application of classes will enable you to embrace the concepts studied in lecture format and apply those concepts in a laboratory setting. The program is designed for students who are pursuing employment in the technology field in careers such as: Systems Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration, Security Management and Director of IT.
Online: Two 7-week terms per semester starting in January, March, May, July, August and October
Who Is This Program For?
The online Bachelor of Science in Information Technology couples a bachelor’s degree with industry-recognized certifications in information technology to provide graduates with an advantage when beginning their career in the IT field. When you graduate, you will be prepared to successfully complete up to 13 industry-recognized certifications from Microsoft to Comp TIA.
DEGREE COMPLETION TIME
The time to complete one’s degree is dependent on the number of hours transferring in. Tiffin University strives to transfer in as much transfer credit for students as possible. With this said, in order for credit to transfer, one must have earned a “C” or better in the course.
