I started my career in a family business in Sandusky, Ohio, working in human resources and management for more than 10 years. This background proved invaluable when I spent the next five years as a career and academic advisor at a community college, and later when I joined Tiffin University.
From 2012 to 2018, I was an adjunct instructor on TU’s main campus and at our extended learning sites. In 2018, I became a full-time member of the faculty and, in 2019, I was named Director of Extended Learning. In this role, I use my work and teaching experiences to help students at our extended learning locations map out and achieve their educational goals.
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from TU, which makes it easy for me to relate to our students’ needs and opportunities. I’m currently pursuing my Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation at St. Thomas University.
When I’m not working with students or studying to reach my own educational goals, I’m active in the community and my children’s schools. My husband, three kids and I live in Avon, Ohio, and love nothing more than a relaxing weekend at the lake!
