As a graduate academic advisor, I try to be the one person my students can reach out to whenever they need something or have questions about their MBA programs. I can answer questions about scheduling, financial aid, graduation and billing. I also monitor students’ participation in courses and, if needed, I can help them withdraw.
I started working at Tiffin University right after I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from TU in 2013. While completing my Master’s in Higher Education Administration, I explored my options for working in different departments on campus. I found my true passion was in advising students and helping them achieve their educational goals.
I’m proud to be a first-generation college student from a single parent household, a sector of the population that TU specializes in helping. As an employee, I am committed to providing the same level of service to students that I received myself. I would not have achieved my dreams without the TU staff’s individualized attention and I’m happy to be in a position to do the same for others. As I always tell my students, no one holds you back but you, and you can do anything you put your mind to. Just do it!
Outside work, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I enjoy shopping, dancing, attending country concerts and trying to live in the moment!
