I am originally from the great state of Minnesota until I went to college at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan. There I was lucky enough to play lacrosse and earn my Bachelors in Business Administration.
Through my time in college I got the opportunity to travel all over the United States for sports. I quickly learned how to juggle work, school, sports and free time. I had multiple part time jobs in coaching, admissions, and being a substitute paraprofessional back at home over breaks. I knew from there that I loved to work with kids.
After college, I had no idea what I wanted to do. In the matter of a couple of months things changed fairly quickly for me. I chose to move to Tiffin, Ohio where I then got the chance to work with students and help them through their time in college. I will start my MBA here at TU as well, and with that I can really gage on what the students are going through and try my best to assist them. My experience proves that you can have no clue as to what you want to do or be when you grow up. But, life will bring you many opportunities to grow and learn. As long as you strive to do and be your best at whatever life gives you, the opportunities become endless.
As well as working at TU, I continue to coach lacrosse as it is one of my many passions. I enjoy traveling, working out, cooking and of course, watching the Vikings like a true Minnesotan. I also love dogs, binge watching my favorite shows, and spending time with my friends and family.
